Salt Cay BlogWDCS and the SPAW Protocol WDCS is becoming increasingly active within the SPAW Protocol, one of a series of agreements under the Cartagena Convention which brings together the countries of the Wider Caribbean Region (WCR) in a concerted effort to address the protection of the marine environments and the species within the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.

CMS LogoWDCS is proud to have been adopted as a partner to the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) Partner.
Improving protection for migratory species Representatives from more than 90 countries came together in Nairobi, Kenya, for the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) conference in November 2005. At this important meeting, WDCS became a partner organisation to CMS representing an historical step for both organisations in their work to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises - wanderers of the seas. A positive partnership for conservation. For more information see: www.wdcs.org/wildoceans Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3
