Brewery’s donation will help protect whales and dolphins

WDC's Charlie Phillips receives donation cheque from Black Isle Brewery

Field officer, Charlie Phillips was delighted to represent WDC at the handover of a cheque for £961.50 towards our work from the Black Isle Brewery’s Cat Hayman-Anderson and Catriona Sutherland.

The money was raised during the brewery’s annual ‘Jocktoberfest' music and beer festival held in Scotland in September. The event brings together those who love music, dancing and great beer, and this year the brewery wanted to show its support for WDC with a ‘Below the Sea’ theme and a donation from a percentage of the ticket sales.

WDC is very grateful to the Black Isle Brewery for all its efforts to raise the money, which will help us in our work to reduce some of the threats that whales and dolphins face each and every day.
