Join Team Orca and swim the Serpentine!
Saturday, 21st September 2019
Swim Serpentine is a one-day open water swimming event staged in the beautiful setting of the famous Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
As well as the actual Swim itself, you and your supporters will have plenty of stands, stalls and activities to visit around the Serpentine, making it an unmissable day out for the whole family and a great way to raise funds to help whales and dolphins.
Team Orca has places for each distance - for more details and how to apply, see below:

Half Mile Swim
Taking in half a lap of the Serpentine, there is plenty of time to swim this distance at your own speed or just to try out an open water swimming event with an achievable but, for some, still challenging swim.
One Mile Swim
A classic distance in the world of open water swimming events covering one full lap of the Serpentine. This is the most popular of all the swim distances with swimmers taking between 20 minutes and one hour to complete the swim.
Two Mile Swim
For those who would like to really test themselves with two full laps of the Serpentine. This distance is only for more experienced swimmers who have already previously completed a one-mile open water swim.
